Eaton BR AFCI white button vs yellow

Basically the shorter version was made to take less space in the panel. I think they also might have upgraded the electronics some for nuisance trips.
 
If it is an older version it doesn't necessarily mean it is not a combination unit. The new ones have a self diagnostic feature on them and have a white button, I believe.
 
Unusual that the big orange would have old stock on an item like this. I just bought it over the weekend for a job today supposedly the BR is listed for Challenger. My supply house did not have any Eaton BR. That was also strange as they used to be Challenger in the day.

Is there any classified AFCI , one part for many panels.
 
Does not surprise me. Bought a few gate opener remotes that scanned above the shelf price.
Problem was that the earlier identically appearing package with a different SKU and costing $5 more were mixed in the same bin w/o relabeling.
