Run the numbers. For the most part they are an unreliable and uneconomical source of electricity that would not even be under consideration without the massive (mostly indirect) government subsidies being pumped into them.

This might be a shameless thread hi-jack, but here goes...

Has any one heard from POCO's about these. They've gotta hate the ups and downs on their grids??? Or maybe there nice because the can do generator PM's on windy days?

Heck, even newspapers are making a fortune publishing all the foreclosures each day. My local paper used to have 8 or 10 a week. Now the have 8 or 10 pages. Every day.

News papers are failing Denver lost a publisher this week, others are struggling.
