I'm studying for my electrical license. Does anyone know where I can find the formula to calculate Effective RMS when peak voltage is known? Is it somewhere buried in Ugly's Reference?
Which, to be clear, is the square root of 2 and its inverse.
That tells us who puts the groceries away. Then again, I couldn't find the Ketchup for my hamburger last night (of course, my wife went right to it!).
Well, let's hope that's what the power companies continue to send us.The formula only applies to Sine Wave signals.
Welcome to the forum.
That's actually something most of us know.
Peak is 1.414 x RMS, and RMS is 0.707 x peak.
Or sqrt 2 and sqrt 0.5Which, to be clear, is the square root of 2 and its inverse.
