Electric Bill

I just received my electric bill for my house. I calculated what my KWH cost for electricity was. It came to 9.2 cents per KWH. I was told that it was a very low cost. What are the KWH cost in other parts of the US.( also I think we have a member from England). I am in the northern panhandle of WV.

New England electric rates average above 15 cents/KwHr generally.

last time I checked my KWH charge, it was 16 cents per. Ive herd tails that in some parts of the country that have nuclear power the kwh is alot less.

Here on long Island it's 22 cents KWH after you add in Revenue-Based pilots, Suffolk Property Tax Adjustments, and Sales Tax. I think we are second highest in the country
