Not at all and i have wired many homes with several bathrooms but never one with 2 laundries.Perhaps this is a northern type thing.

We, we can't wear shorts and a t-shirt year round, so we end up with a lot more to wash! :D

BTW, the house I am roughing in has: 2 laundrys, 2 full-size fridges, 3 mini fridges, 3 dishwahers, and I think the HOs are bringing 2 freezers with them.

I've got three fridges in a 4 bedroom house 1 in the kitchen 1 in the shop and 1 in the garage. As the Mrs. said "god forbid you would have to walk more than 25' for a cold beer"

Many of the farmhouses in my area have two laundries. One for "barn clothes" and one for the family's regular clothes. Keeps the cow or chicken crap out of the regular laundry.

Golly, now your secret for nice soft work clothes is out.

I was on a job where a stack washer and dryer were in the bath room and we had to put the washer on a gfi breaker but dryer was fine I think because in some places you may be able to plug something else in.

Only 15 and 20 amp 125 volt receptacles are required to have GFCI protection. If the dryer was 30 amps and / or 240 volt it would not require GFCI protection.
