I am attaching a link. I have my doubts about this product. It is suppose to correct the pf at your home caused by the AC, fridge, (motors) etc. I can see the theory but not the application because it doesn't seem to me that true power oppose to apparent would be that big of a "factor" in a home. I could be wrong.

I would use the search phrase "snake oil " and search this forum.

Just by reading the advertizing literature you immediately know it is some form of snake oil salesmanship.

What the others said, plus apparent power is not a big "factor" in a home because the typical meter used to measure the true power in a home does not register the apparent power. Only commercial and industrial customers that are equipped with metering equipment that measures power factor and are charged a penalty for poor power factor have much to lose by not correcting it.
