electrical code 110.26(f)(1) a through d
Need clarification regarding electrical dedicated space. We build pumping systems which include an air receiver, pumps and an electrical control panel. The vacuum pumps on mounted on top of the receiver and the electrical panel for the pumps is mounted below. The motors from the pumps sit slightly over the control panel. The code states piping, duct leak protection apparatus or othr equiment foregin to the electrical installation shall not be located in this zone. We do not conside the pump motors foreign equipment as they are directly wired to the panel. Does this configuration meet code?
