Electrical conduits and Gas Meters

I understand keeping your electrical service panels away from where the gas meters, however, does the same rules apply to electrical conduits? I plan on running my conduit down an exterior wall and it will pass close to the gas main. Any help is appreciated.

More than likely this issue is covered by the utility "Guidelines for Installation" handbook. You need to consult that for a definite answer.

I agree check with utility co not going to find it in NEC.

Usually the conduit will not be an issue but as others have said check with the utility. They are all very different.

I have pretty much the same answer what Dennis Alwon expaining and yes you have to check with your POCO / GCO { gas company } for latest info
