Hey guys. I have an electrical contract that I had since I have been in business for myself but I am not not sure it protects me in its entirety. Is there a standard but thorough form that anyone can recommend? Thanks.

Its one from your attorney that is familiar with construction law and YOUR local and state laws. Some boiler plate contract that may get you by in one state would be toilet paper in another.

No. Boiler plate is routinely thrown out by courts. Your best protection is a work description that specifies what work you are going to do and the cost breakdown. If you have boiler plate then it needs to be written by a local attorney who is familiar with your local courts.

Really. Are you speaking from experience.
You are in ca , yes?
You should be more concerned about the cslb contract requirements.
