Hi Guys, Ive been doing Solar since 2006. Ive done residential and commercial. Roof and ground mounts. Ive done everything from beginning to end (hands on). My question is, is any of this useful when applying for my electrical license. I live in NJ. If anyone has any knowledge that could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You should see if you meet the qualifications for a journeymen license. The requirements are easier to meet. Then after a year you can qualify for the contractor license.

The biggest thing will be documenting your hours. And if you performed the work under a licensee.
