Hello all. My understanding is that you can put an electrical panel behind a door, as long as the clearance is there when you close the door.
My question is: if the electrical panel is surface mounted, where the closet door touches the panel when opened. So the closet door doesn't fully open at 90 degrees, maybe closer to 85degrees. is this considered a violation? (Assuming you put a door stop so you don't touch the panel)
Thank you
