NFPA 70E states that "Employees working on or near energized conductors shal be trained in release of victims form contact"

Where can I find Examples of how to "release a victim from contact"?
 
That means they need to understand how to safely denergize the equipment, or if not possible use an insulated device (Like a rescue hook) to remove the victim.
 
i was talking with one of our jw and he said as an apprentice the first time he was helping a jw in a hot gear he was handed a 2x4 and told it was if the jw got locked on. he asked isnt it going to hurt when i hit you with this?

Ahhh, one of the most common myths in the industry, a 2x4 will most likely do nothing, find a documented case from OSHA where that actually worked, you wont. YHe obviously knows very little about electric shocks and the human bodies response to them.
