I have a project with two 4000A services. Does NEC prohibit the two services coming into same electrical room (big electrical room)?

Exhibit 230.7 on page 135 of 2005 NEC handbook shows one service. It seems to me is six services. Could anybody explain a little bit? Thanks.

230.2(C)(1) allows you to have two 4000 amp services for a single building. Nothing says they have to be in different rooms. I don?t have the handbook, so I can?t address that part of your question.

Short answer is yes. Look at 230.2(A)-(D), maybe you meet one of these criteria?

Also 230.40 ex 2 says you may assuming a few things.

I would say as long as there not more than 6 means of disco you should be o.k.
