they would not open on my computer said access was denied..but my office is MS office 2000

When the dialog box opens,"click save instead of open once you have saved it you should be able to run it from there, also try to save it to a folder where you know where it is at for later use.

To Save Electrics Internet Index

Most of you already no this.

But for the ones not that familiar with a computer do this.If you want to download this or save it.

To save this to your computer all you have to do is go to your tool bar at the top of your page and
left click on "file" very top left, a drop down menu will appear.

Scroll down to "save as..." and left click on "save as..." a Save Web page dialog box will appear

Information to Enter into your save box

Top box should read-----------C:/Electricians_Internet_Index

Middle box should read--------Web page,HTML only[*.htm,.html]

Bottom box should read-------Western European(Windows

When you get done saving open up My Computer and
click on Local Disk C: and find the Icon Internet symbol
Named Electricians_Internet_Index make a
Shortcut and Paste this on your Desktop
 
I have written a Index just for persons in the Electrical field
it has all the main Electrical web sites and a link to the online NEC. code.

It will take a while for the sites to down load.You should be able to use the Index right away.

Please use Internet Explorer to open.

Outstanding! what makes it even better, is that you can find my company info on one of the pages--with a little research.:grin:
