Elevator emergency shut down system

I have a elevator tech who tells me he needs a shunt trip trip breaker install and some type of low volatge current sensor to detect if it's power outage or if the power was manually shut down. The sensor will need to be installed on the disconnect also. I need some instruction on the proper elevator emergency system.

He needs to make up his mind on whether he's askng your for shunt trip or undervoltage release. A shunt trip will not dump the breaker on a power outage. An undervoltage release will.

I believe the elevator is a hydro and he is looking for a loss of phase relay to introduce the rescuvator. The rescuvator is a battery back up which in the case of loss of power it trips making a normally open contact closed and lets the rescuvator return the elevator to the bottom landing with it's dooors open and shuts down.

Sometimes we use a 4th pole of the main line disconnect to determine if we lost three phase power or the main switch is pulled to do maintenance. What the tech is asking you is to provide a means of loss of power which will fire a relay to alert the battery backup and bring the elevator down and open the doors.

Can the rescuvator have to type of sources to receive signals from or one only. If I were to install new breaker with low voltage sensor were will I run the wires too? The elevator control box or the disconnect for the motor power. I have no idea of that type of system, and elevator tech doesn't also.
