Has anyone installed Elite lighting wafer lights? After installing these for a couple of years we actually looked at the instructions. The instructions state to wire it in NMD90 romex cable or BX cable. I installed these in a bunch of residential homes with NM-B cable. What exactly NMD90 romex cable? I don’t think they sell it here in Massachusetts. I asked the manufacturer which is in California about NM-B cable and they said
For U.S. applications, we recommend using BX (armored/AC cable), which features a metal sheath for added protection and durability. NM-B (Romex) uses a plastic jacket and is typically used in standard residential applications.
Although NM-B (Romex) is allowed for residential use, we recommend BX (armored/AC cable) for this fixture due to its added protection, especially in insulated conditions.
