I understand i had previous posts but this is about generator box and LSI previous posts were about panelboard and main service switchboard

See attached sketch. I have High Rise building which has 480/277V three phase main service switchboard, emergency generator, ATSs one emergency and another standby, emergency panelboard.

The emergency branch ATS has generator connection box for portable generator connected as shown sketch. The generator has kirk key interlock with generator bkr feeding emergency ATS.

The 250A emergency feeder breaker on generator has LSI and so does the standby 600A fdr bkr on generator.

Questions:

1. Is one required to have ground fault indication generator side fdr bkr since they have LSI only or not? Which article NEC 2017?

2. Generator box for roll up generator I see one for optional standby system NEC 2017 section 702.7(C) but not for emergency system NEC 2017 section 700. Is this allowed in the emergency system or not?

3. Is their a section NEC 2017 section 700 which says if system is separately dervied or not to provide sign at the generator box for portable connection?

Are you saying the generator is portable as in not a permanent installed unit?

See 700.3(F). The provisions to connect a portable generator is not only allowed, it is required.

1. No. No article reference since there is no requirement.
2. Required. 700.3(F)
3. I am not aware of any requirement for signage. I require signage in my designs because I think it is a good idea, but I don't know that there is an NEC requirement for the signage.
