EMT connector Bushing

Manufacturer's publications do not indicate if bushings are required. Do these fittings have sufficient rounded edges to prevent abrasion?
 
IMO no. You'll need a bushing with an insulated throat or a bushing installed on the threads if the conductors are #4 AWG or larger.

Pb's are cheap insurance. They're made so cheaply now, some of them are razor sharp. We used some a while back(3/4") that were skinning the insulation so well off the side of the wire you'd of thought it was done with a knife!:mad:
