I have seen it look the same when pulled from the walls in Jamaica on outside cement block walls... but was told by an old electrician that the products sometimes get flooded by hurricane seawater and then sold a bit cheaper afterwards... dont know for sure as have yet to be there after a hurricane and see the prices..lol..
