Is it common practice to have a run of EMT and have LFMC on both ends, at the beginning and the end. It’s for branch circuits with EGC

Only if the installer doesn't own or know how to use a bender. I personally wouldn't allow it unless flexibility was needed for some reason.

I wouldn't call it common, but it would be compliant provided the correct fittings are used.

May require an external bonding jumper.
