I think there would need to be an "O" ring or gasket at the connection to the box or enclosure for it to be rain-tight (waterproof)

If the EMT connector is raintight why would you need a Meyers hub? Doesn't the 3R panel have a hub on the top that you would be threading the EMT connector into?

The only listed fitting i know of is a meyers hub to do this job.What your suggesting is using what ? o ring ? Where is your ul listing ?

big vics post #2 has a bridgeport raintight fitting that is UL listed
