As it happens, I didn't get to it today. Today was one of those days when I wished I hadn't left the house. Glued a reducer in the wrong end of my last 2" LB and it was a 40 minute drive to the closest source.

The trusses are definitely on 5' centers. There are purlins across the trusses but I am not allowed to attach to them in any way.
