I need to replace a 24V transformer and a few 240V relays for a small heating project. Currently they're located in a coat closet. I wanted to clean it up by installing a larger covered enclosure with a divider so I can bring the 18/2 Thermostat wire into one side and the NM cable into the other, but I can't seem to find one.

Does anybody have a recommendation?
If no product exist, then does it seem like a violation if I bring the 18/2 into a 4-square box INSIDE a larger enclosure where I splice it with THHN before I exit the 4-square so that the 24V and 240V can share the same space inside the larger enclosure?

I was looking at the Aube RC840 relays.

I see 1900 or handy boxes inside enclosures quite often so there is not an issue in doing that. Is the 24 volt Class 2 wiring? Class 2 within the enclosure with power conductors has its own restrictions even if you use 600 volt insulation for both.
