Thats a good question ,one place I can think of ENT being exposed is the home runs conduits going to the wireways above panels in the electrical room , the rest was inside walls and above the ceiling grid.Originally posted by wyatt:

I've struggled with this same question, and yes, at first glance these two sections seem to form a circular reference. But here's what I think it is saying. 362.10 (1) allows it to be used exposed as long as the building does not exceed three floors and it is not in a location that would be prohibited by any of the items in 362.12 other than item (7). 362.12 (7) prohibits exposed use in situations other than described by 362.10(1), (5), or (7). I think this last list should include situations described by 362.10 (2) exception, but the way the code is written, 362.12(7) would override the permission given in the exception to 362.10(2)Originally posted by wyatt:
