Dear Mike,
On the subject of ESD (electrostatic discharge)when you are assembling an ESD sensitive product on an ESD grounded surface such as a grounded mat.If you were to place a non-conductive object on the mat such as a plastic bin. Then an ESD sensitive object
were to come in contact with it would a discharge happen to the object or would the mat it is sitting on already have drained the charge. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance
