Anyone have some good suggestions for mounting european sconces to 4/0 and 3/0 junction boxes. They don't come with any hardware and the hole for wire is way to the side of light. Some of the j-boxes are in slate-tiles walls.

The case of fixture parts is one of the heaviest cases on my truck. Even so, mounting a European fixture will challenge one's creativity and eat time.

Hope you're on T&M.

Had about 60 of these on a job, and found out the hard way they wont work. I ended up designing a bracket that would screw onto the 4-O box and have holes for the screw locations on the fixtures, then sent a drawing over to a fabricator to make them for me. If it?s just a couple it may be more cost effective to make your own brackets.

I have a cusomer who has a few of these things. What I ended up doing was using a 4"round finish plate atached it directly to the fixture and use the mounting screw holes to attach to the box. We had the finish plate painted to match the walls. They are tough to deal with.

Good luck
