Hello,
I'm looking to install an EV Charger.

Am I interpreting the code correct that if it's under 60 amps it does not need it's own disconnect?

If it is over 60 amps and the panel is within sight, can the breaker count as the disco? It would definitely be readily accessible. I could add a breaker lock if that was necessary.

Without checking chapter and verse that all sounds correct to me. Definitely I agree about using a circuit breaker with breaker lock as disconnecting means as long as the location and such meets all the other requirements.
