Manufacturer’s are allowed to make non-standard sizes, and per the code, we don’t have to use them when things like “upsizing” come into play. For, example 240.4 B says “standard” sizes I believe.

I have seen quite a few Zinsco 2-pole 55's. They were pretty common as the feeder breaker in apartment meter stacks protecting #6 TW. I don't think I have seen a 55 from any other manufacture until seeing this thread.

I have seen and used 10 amp QO breakers before. Was for control circuits.

I think I have seen either a 55 or 65 amp breaker (probably Siemens and probably a unit breaker - lugs on both ends) in generators before.
Have a 100A single pole breaker in my stash somewhere, although do not wish this to become "mine is bigger then yours" thread. :lol:

Oh wow.....is that a standard 1" miniature? I thought 70 was the largest that was made.

I actually used one of those once to supply a UPS with a 120volt input

Still run into an occasional "meter main" on distribution pole at old farm places (that have been there forever) that have two 100 amp single pole breakers. They are not plug on miniature breakers but rather a unit type breaker with lug on each end. Occasionally see same thing with 50, 60 or 70 amp breakers.

If so might not even be able to purchase from Eaton distributor, but would have to purchase from a distributor that sells whatever that OEM equipment happens to be.
Pulled 3- single pole 60A Zinsco breakers that fed a subpanel in a health food store juice bar, had a mickey mouse attempt to use a wire to tie the 3 poles together, only good thing was that it was 208V, not 240V, because of the 120/240V rating of the 1-pole 60's.
