Is the EVSE Load required for new dwelling units or does it depend on the code section adopted by the AHJ?

Has the NEC ever required installation of an EVSE or EVSE circuit?
NO

Has the NEC always required inclusion in load calculations of an EVSE that is/will be installed?
YES

Has the NEC ever required inclusion in load calculations of an EVSE that isn't/won't be installed?
NO

Do some states and local jurisdictions enforce energy codes or other ordinances requiring installation of an EVSE circuit and/or inclusion of an EVSE in load calculations in new dwelling units?
YES
