Hello,
I am an electrical contractor of 9 years from CA. I moved to NYC on January, so I want to start contracting in the city. Does anyone know if city of New York accepts holding a C-10 contractors license as required experience. I went to DOB and they did not have a clear answer. Exam instruction also says that I am responsible to know if they would accept my experience. I would have to take my exams first and pay a lots of money before they verify my experience. On a related note, I want to start preparing to take my master electrician test. Also, I am looking for somebody that can help me prepare for this exam in NYC. Any help is greatly appreciated.
