In reading the commentary on PP 100 of the handbook it says "Where additional small-appliance branch circuits are installed, they are subject to all the requirements that apply to the minimum two required circuits."

So does this mean the a circuit for a disposal or a DW must be on a 20 AMP circuit?
Have I been in violation by installing a 15 AMP circuit(s) for these?

I know it is the commentary. Just tell me how you read it.

I believe that is for countertops only. Although I may be wrong.

SABCs are for wall, floor, countertop, and refrigeration receptacles. The receptacles under the counter that serve the dishwasher and the disposal are not covered by this section. They can be 15 amp.

Good question. I believe it only applies to small appliance circuits and not fixed appliances fastened in place. When I read the last paragraph in exhibit 210.26 I come to that conclusion.
