If the exit signs are on generater back up, do they have to be on battery back up also? Someone had told me that they had to be, but I was under the impression that it had to be one or the other. Please advise.
Per article 700, the way I am reading it, is that you are correct as long as the generator has the capacity and rating to supply all loads (optional and required standby).
