I have run into something that I have never seen before andI am wondering what section of the code applies to my situation. I have an explosionproof flexible coupling that came with some equipment that is 25ft long, and Iam not sure how it should be supported or what part of the NEC would cover it.
Thanks in advance for all your help

Well, you have me buffaloed on that one too. My understanding is they are not listed for greater than 3 feet. I only know of one manufacturer that offers custom lengths that may exceed 3 feet. I've never designed for longer than 3 feet though.

Typically, your question is a Chapter 3 issue. In your case I'd check with the manufacturer for instructions. Absent that, I'd support it every 6 feet and within 3 feet of a termination.

The gas pump world uses them all the time. Saves labor and allows movement when some customer gets a little to close
