Soon I will install LED ribbon in a customer's kitchen, the power supply and controller will be in the basement. I want to terminate my four runs of ribbon onto a basic terminal block which will be mounted, along with the other components, against the side of a floor joist, at a height of 8' I'd say. I will then go from this block into the controller, whose terminals would not likely accept 4 #18's. Anyway, do you see a problem with these exposed terminals? I could of course just make the splice in a box but I think the terminals would look "Better".

After almost three days and no replies I'm guessing exposed terminals with 12v's on them is not a big deal. If anything maybe I'll just cut small squares of rubber tape and form them over the terminals.
