I need to make short "4feet" runs of 120v from one fixture to the next fixture similar to a pig tail in a ceiling light fixture run. The run will be made under store fixtures "Gondolas" and will be laying on the floor of a Grocery store but will not be exposed to the public. Can I use 4 foot extension cords and plug them into a 3 way adapter? The third leg would have a step down transformer 120v t0 12v or 24v pluged into it then provide low voltage to LED lights?
