Need field input. If you have an existing space that is to be demolished/renovated and they says to connect to extg. circuits would there be a need to run the same amount of branch as if new. I know there are unknowns(what type of lighting is currently there etc.) out there but I would think you would try and keep as much of the branch/extg. intact. Maybe just whips or short run to 4" fixture box. Correct? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

I would estimate it with new whips and a certain amount of new pipe/wire around the perimeter above the new switches with new J-boxes
