I have a new building and lift station that require power. Currently the building will get its power from a close by power pole. The lift station on the other hand i'm not sure which is the best way to feed it. Should i feed it directly from the power pole and provide with its own breaker/meter. Or should i feed it from the building service and tap off a bus and provide a seperate breaker by the lift station. See attached picture. Which way do you think is the best way to do this? also for the pathway of lift station. should i go under the building since it has not been built yet or around it? Life station electrical requirments not known yet. Thank you

Who will be paying for the power to run the lift station? If it's a municipal entity, not the building owner, then it needs a separate service drop.
It is a private lift station. So i would expect the owner. I was going to provide a separate meter for it weather i bring it from the pole or the building. Just not sure which is the more efficient solution.
