Looking at a budget with no feeder sizes. In the instance below. The 800 panel feeding the 200A panels would more than likely never have a feeder sized larger than 200A....out another way the breaker feeder the 200A panel would more than likely not be larger than 200A, correct?

Assuming that voltage drop is not an issue just go with the code minimum. For 200 amps, #3/0 copper.
