My inspector was adamant about code 225.30. I have two feeders going to house and garage from a service pole and he didn't want anything shared between them. Is that correct?

If the structures are separate then there is no issue with one feeder going to the house and one to the garage. Are you saying that there is also wiring between the house and the garage

Inspector correct. You generally cannot create a "triangle" of power feeds from pole-house-barn-pole, without meeting specific limited criteria of 225.30(A),(B),(C),(D) or (E).

If this is for remote control of lighting there are wireless options or Wi-Fi controlled by alexa (edit typos 6/22)

Then wouldn't the additional feeder be allowed under 225.30(D)? ". . . for different uses such as control of outside lighting
from multiple locations."

Cheers, Wayne

I'm guessing Tom was responding to my post and meant "if it isn't" not "if it is"
