I am installing a 100 amp subpanel in a pole barn 200 ft away from the service panel to the house. I am planning to run 3 # 1 AL conductors 2 hot and 1 neutral along with a #6 copper ground wire. Can I downsize the neutral ? Does the #6 ground wire need to be insulated ? It will be in PVC conduit only exiting the house and entering the barn. I am planning to install one ground rod at the barn-do I install the green screw from the neutral bar to the back of the panel in the subpanel ?
Thank You
