Greeting all,
I am a little confused between a feeder and service cable it might be the easiest question.

From which point to which point should it be called service cable and from which point to which point should it be called feeder.

The service is the place where customer owned meets utility owned. All neutral-ground bonds happen here, and anything past this point is a feeder or branch circuit.

From Article 100:

Service Conductors. The conductors from the service point to the service disconnecting means.

Feeder. All circuit conductors between the service equipment, the source of a separately derived system, or other power supply source and the final branch-circuit overcurrent device.

Conductors on the line side of the service disconnecting means would be service conductors and conductors on the load side of the service disconnecting means would be feeder conductors.

I agree and will only add that only a 'Utility' can supply a service, a building supplied form only an on site electrical supply has no 'service' only feeders.

True, when I posted I was only thinking about a building with a utility connected service.
