Need some help doing the connections for a Buck-Boost Transformer. I have a wiring diagram for the connections but frankly cannot understand the diagram.

I need to convert the feed 120 volt, 60 hertz, single phase to 12 volt - low voltage.

The transformer has wires marked H1, H2, H3, H4 and X1, X2, X3, X4

I have a live feed with Black, white and ground and the same for the output lines to the low voltage under-cabinet lights.

Can anyone help me figure out how to make the connections?

What are the primary and secondary voltages listed on the trans.

Even better if you give use the make and model number.

CharleyVA:

Are you really talking about a buck or boost function, or a stepdown transformer with isolation between primary and secondary.

It appears you want a 12 AC output, from a 120 AC input. Is that correct?

I should add that the connections I posted above are for standard marked xfmrs. IIRC, some manufacturers of small xfmrs flop H2/H3 and X2/X3 terminations.
