I been trying to get some feed back on fire alarm systems codes per NEC referring to Conduits ( Is there anything that states that conduits should be rigid for all the system?) also did not find anything that says cable tray shouldn’t be use.

Can anyone refer me to the right location to find this information. I know that NFAP 20 its for fire pumps and NEC Article 760 its for fire alarm systems, I couldn’t find anything about this wiring methods.

There is no code requirement, neither in NFPA 70 nor in NFPA 72, to put fire alarm cable in conduit. This is entirely a matter for the AHJ, contract documents, and designer of record to sort out.
