I need help with the the following application/wiring etc.

control modules for fsd/smoke purge fsd
fan shutdown
relays
monitoring status etc.

Is there a good book that covers this stuff?

Get you a fresh copy of one of these right here: NFPA 72, 2010 Edition.

What ever fine State your in, I would research all of and any of Code, State Status(or whatever they call them), laws, and web sites that have on the matter.

Usually its the State Fire Marshall, frankly it can be a bureactic name like State Office of Building Constuction, and any where in between.

If all else fails, remember that your D/C will be in series, use, Google, Images: Diagram (etc) ...
