I'm working on a fire pump replacement project and can't seem to grasp what I'm doing wrong. The electrical permit reviewer
commented on the drawings saying that "Verify the Circuit breaker on the emergency power side complies with NEC 695.4(A).
I spoke to him and he had mentioned that I need to tap the line side with a seperate breaker. Please refere to attached one
line diagram.
Also he made another comment "Verify the circuit breaker size on the emergency power side complies with NEC 695.4(B).
He said that he thought my 3P100A was too large and should be sized on the motor rating. I believe i just need to change
it from 3P100A to 3P70A. Is that correct?
