Do we ground fire pump ATS? (i.e. run grounding electrode conductor from fire pump ats and bond to building grounding system)? Fire pump can be understood as a separate service, I assumed.

If you are thinking separate service as a (separate building) fed from your main service. Then in 08 it would need a 4 wire any way.
But it might make a difference depending on the type of generator you have.

The Index will list it as a transfer switches, or as a fire pump.

Negating why you have either for a minute.

The Fire pumps need to be addressed as the Big Gorilla in the room, just about all aspects of what you asked is included in 695

Now why you have a fire pump, generator, and transfer switch starts getting addressed in 700.

Well yes you take it to the grounding electrode system of your building its a service .

It is from the power companys transformer and uses the emergency generator via ATS so its a service.
