I recently saw a newly installed residential sprinkler system with a Gould Irri-gator used for a pump. 695.10 NEC requires all electric motors to be listed for fire pump service. I don't believe an irrigation pump is listed for this purpose. Are there exceptions in another code that would allow this? i.e NFPA 13D or NFPA 20. Am I missing something?
