fire pump service

I recall that nfpa 99-110-or 20 corroborate with the NEC , if the facility (hospital) is served from two utility sources, the fire pump need not be on a generator?

As long as the fire pump itself can be powered off of either one of those services, and you tap ahead of each service disconnect. Or you can have two services and a double-ended main substation or switchgear, feeding another double-ended lineup, which feeds the fire pumps, but you need written permission from the AHJ to do this instead of tapping off ahead of the service diconnects.
