In regards to fire pump setups with built in controller, do we size the fedder to the controller and the wiring to he pump from controller at 125% or just the fedder I'm pretty sure it's both but it's been a while

125% to controller Wye to delta run then controller to motor 72% but I have been rusty today

So I need to size the feeder 125%of the flc of thw fire pump in red plus 100%of the black booster pump. Then the Branch circuit wiring is 72%of both flcs together?

The 72% only is applicable if the pump is wired through the controller for Wye start/Delta run otherwise it's the standard 125%.

Sorry I should not have mentioned Wye start Delta run controller it’s just common what I have inspected. You need 125% to controller and 125% from controller to motor. Are you feeding jockey pump from another circuit?

Does the jockey pump fall under the same rules if it's used for the fire pump in otherwords 2 hour rating , its own service etc or could it just come off a regular ckt in the building

I would wait to verify for the other more experienced in this area, but I’m thinking the jockey pumps get wired like any other motor in the building.
Im checking myself here...

The pressure maintenance / jockey pump can be fed from another circuit and not required to have 2 hr circuit protective means. From where are you supplying the controller? Just curious

I'm not sure I haven't been on site yet we didn't mount the controller
