I had a few of those 45-degree duplex connectors a while back.

Where did the leader of the free world find 45 degree duplex connectors? That's right up there with an 8 gang despard wall plate.

I can't really say. They were probably in with some stuff I bought a while back at a sale. I'd almost bet money they were Bridgeport.

edit.... by the way, you can order an 8-gang despard wall plate from the chart in the back of the P&S catalog.

I use a single finger fork, also known as a screw-driver.
I suppose I should have said 'single tined fork',
since the little finger things on a fork are called 'tines'.

Arlington now makes snap in 90's which make this a lot easier. MCAP and self grounding device can make all the difference in the world. Just no gfi's or dimmers pleae

I want one!

I know....just pointing out the demand for such items is probably on the low side. :D

I did not know it was hard to do.I use the connectors with locknuts.Keep the end of mc stripped a bit long,Start wire in the ko but leave space and install box, next is madison straps, pull wire till connector is in,put locknut on.Other than fishing wire in the wall this will only take 5 minutes.

I still don't understand why anyone would do it that way when they make boxes with MC clamps.

WIT.... What's In Truck

Sure...for the occasional box I understand.

But for a regular practice to do it that way I don't understand, especially on a job where there will be a lot of old working of MC and cut in boxes.

I try to keep mc connectors with locknuts on truck. They work for more than just cut in boxes.Sometimes need to enter a 4 sq box allready in wall.Cost is about same as any.I have seen far too many sloppy cutin jobs where they break drywall putting them in or they dont adjust the tabs.
